How much will it cost?
Many factors come into play when determining the cost involved in doing a shoot. For every 1 hour of onsite photography there may be as much as 3 hours or more time needed in post production. Many photographers charge by the hour, as well as creative and photographic fees, all of which can be confusing and very expensive.
We tried to simplify the pricing structure as best possible. In doing so we avoid many of the add-on costs and will invoice a “standard job” on a price per finished pano.
Exceptions to this standard include, but not limited to:
- additional interior lighting
- evening shoots (after 4pm)
- delayed entry into shoot location
- travel time beyond 30 miles
- hosting
- special post production and or publishing needs
The client will be notified before hand if additional needs are required at an onsite shoot.
Normal costs:
Photographer Fee (PF): $75 hour
WAIVED ON STANDARD SHOOTS
This is the photographers base fee paying for his time and talent. Depending on the job the fee can be based hourly @ $75 hr. (1 hour minimum). We absorb drive times to site locations within a 30 mile radius of Santa Rosa. Outside this radius drive time applies one-way.
The photographer can typically shoot up to 5 -8 pano’s in one hour.
Post-production (PP) costs : $50 hour
WAIVED ON STANDARD SHOOTS
After the images are shot post production come next. This is the most time consuming portion of the project. It involves expertise and computer time for the editing and assembly of each panoramic image as well as publishing in the proper format for the client. We adjust brightness, contrast, color balance, and retouch as needed.
Simplified pricing structure :
We provide 2 types of VR panoramic’s:
 360 degree cylindrical or circle panoramic (360CP)
Giving a full 360 left to right image - no up or down movement. This requires taking multiple shots.
Average post production time typically 2 hours
Rate = $150 per 360CP pano
 360 degree spherical or global panoramic (360SP)
This is fully immersive panoramic allowing for left and right rotation as well as up and down.
Average post production time is typically 1-2 hours
Rate = $200 per 360SP pano -
Special contract rates:
We offer discounted rates for Real Estate Agencies, Yacht Brokers and other companies needing multiple pano’s”
The rates are inclusive of the Photographer fee and PP costs.
25 360CP’s and/or 360SP’s 20% discount ($250 deposit)
50 360CP’s and/or 360SP’s 30% discount ($500 deposit)
100 360CP’s and/or 360SP’s 50% discount ($1000 deposit)
Non refundable deposits due on contract before work begins, and subtracted at job end.
Finished work will be published onto CD-ROM in at least 2 formats to give your website developer greater flexibility in incorporating the panoramic images onto your company website.
Published formats may include:
- QuickTime (.mov)
- Java
- *ActiveX
- *Flash (.swf)
- Executable (.exe) - play on any PC or E-mail to clients
Optional services:
Music added to Pano’s = $25 (provided by client)
Extra CD-ROM's = $10ea.
